Branson Pictures

I usually wouldn't post something like this but, I think he is so cute looking into the camera and taking one picture after another. He loves to do thinks like this. Grandpa Dick gave him this Cowboy hat. I bet he is looking at himself to see how good looking he is. Branson, I think you are way handsome and one day you will have all the girls chasing you with those long skinny legs and blue eyes.

Love the tongue. Who does this remind you of? Guess

Keep being who you are. We love it. Always be yourself.

Hickman Bridge

Conference weekend Brooke called and wanted to know if we could go with her and the kids and hike to Hickman Bridge.
When we were in our way back to the van, I had Baxter get into this little cave.

I haven't been to Hickman Bridge since I was about 8. The Teasdale Primary would go down to Capital Reef and hike this trail. We had fun. First we went to the Gifford House and bought some drinks and ice cream. We went over to the picnic tables and had a nice picnic with the kids. I forget how fun things like this can be. We all get so caught up with the hustle of life we forget about the things that made us happy as kids. As I was hiking a thought kept coming back to me: "why, don't I do thinks with my kids that I did as a child?" I am going to try harder to do simple, yet fun, things with my kids.

Fall Family Picture Beautiful leaves

We went up on Monroe Mountain and looked at the pretty leaves and took some pictures. What a cute family. I love you guys.Baxter and Mom having a little talk. We seem to have these little talks quite a bit. I hope some day they will pay off.

As we were coming home I told LaRon we used to go on rides a lot back when we were first married. I told him we need to do this more. I think I enjoy the simple things in live the best.
Mom and her kiddos Luv Ya!

I just love these kids and I am so glad they are mine.

August Pictures We don't have very many.

Dark Valley cabin. This is the Pace cabin and we had a fun time out their painting it this year . Sure looks nice.

This is up to Midway at the old homestead. LaRon and I went up there and stayed for our 14th Anniversary. I wanted to set here and maybe the frog would turn into a Prince.
Burns Saddlery. Bentley was running around while we were trying to get Boots for the Boys for school.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons at the Bicknell pool. We usually take lessons in Gunnison but this year I thought this would be a little better.

Torgerson Mountain Trip

Don't you love kids that have been camping? Dirty faces that only moms will kiss. Bentley sure loves getting dirty.Baxter loves riding horses. He wanted to ride the horse all day long.

This was so funny. I saw Branson sitting by the potty and asked him if he was waiting for his turn. He told me "No, this just looks like a good place to sit." I said "doesn't it kinda stink?" He told me "Mom, you can't really smell stink when you are camping. " I thought about it and I guess it is kinda true.

Baxter sure loves riding this 80 motorcycle around. He wants one.

LaRon just taking the kids for a little ride.

The kids always have so much fun on the mountain trip. I guess that is why we always take the time a go camping.

Some home improvement

Building a shed for the firewood. Baxter is learning so much by all the little projects we do.
Hammering the nails in the roof.

Cement in the back of house. We are making a small porch back there.
New asphalt in the front of house. Nice, nice, nice.

After this is all finished we will be able to have some picnics outside. This winter will not be so muddy for when we get the wood for the fireplace.

Cowabungua Bay

Baxter had fun. I hardly saw him all day.

The kids had a great time here. Fun place.
The water was a little cold for me but the kids didn't mind.

Branson would go down a slide and then go lay on the sidewalk to get warm.

I think Bentley has had enough. So did I. I wanted this trip to be fun but I had a gallbladder attack all day and ended up in the Emergency Room in Gunnison. So, two weeks later, I had my gallbladder taken out. I feel much better.

We decided to go to "Chuck-a-Rama" I had a really good salad with this good green ranch on it. I ended up telling Collette I think I am having a anxiety attack. She looked and me and said why would you have one here. Then I kept complaining about it all day and Brooke said you sure complain a lot. I just wanted to leave but the kids were having so much fun that I just sat and waited until our time was up. I wanted to go buy my kids some school clothes. I decided that I couldn't stand to go shopping and we headed home. The way home I keep thinking should I go to the Hospital in Provo and I drove by. As I got closer I wondered if I should stop at the Hospital in Nephi. I got a hold of LaRon and he said he would meet me in Gunnison. The Doctor gave me a shot that made me feel better and LaRon drove us all home and then we had to go to the Hospital the next day and get some tests. Sure enough, it was my gallbladder. I had one stone in the gallbladder.

Collette come over and stayed with us before we went up to the water park.
