Easter Hole in the Rock

Started the day of with a egg hunt at Grandma Becky's house. Each person got to pick ten eggs and they each had numbers on them. The kids got to add the eggs up and what every child got the biggest number picked there prize first.
LaRon standing in dance hall rock.
Mom and all my sisters in dance hall rock.
Having lunch on our way to Hole In the Rock. So far the day has been great.
The littlest kids in the back of the truck eating lunch. What fun cousins can have when they are together.
LaRon keeping a hold on Bentley she wants to be so independent. Not on a cliff that is 500 feet down.

This place is pretty amazing. Just imagine taking 28 wagons and 1000 head of cows down this trail. I hiked down it and I was out of breath. It made me think of how strong the pioneers were.
Allyson is such a good little aunt.

Dick and Becky just waiting for the rest of the family to finish climbing down to Lake Powell. It is about a mile from the top of the hole to the bottom.
Ty, Branson, Chap and Baxter finishing the trail. My boys are the ones with their shirts off. Such good kids. Must have been a good work out.
On the way back there was a beautiful rainbow so we stopped and LaRon took this picture of me. We really enjoyed this day together with my family. We all were together this doesn't happen that often. The dirt road from the Highway is about 63 miles. We left Teasdale at about 10:30 am and didn't return until about 10:00 at night. Lots of fun. The faith that the pioneers had was pretty amazing to complete this journey.
